Much about being a professional psychic medium is about making choices. Not just psychic medium choices but real life decisions.
Do I go out on this weekend to work with police and a family for a missing person or do I spend it with my family who I haven’t had real time with for a month!?!
Do I book this client on my day off because they are having a crisis and NEED me and since they are a returning client they believe they should have the time?
Do I take on this business contract/consultation because it means big money, yet it will take up huge amounts of my extra time.
Do I book this radio/tv gig because it means exposure knowing I will have to reschedule more clients which will be pissed off?
The more I get exposure the more my time is taken away. Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining…well not that much, maybe a little. I love what I do. But I have so many people telling me that they wish they did what I do. Do you really? The point is that just one little choice/decision can change a complete outcome of our lives. Do we cheat on our spouse because we feel neglected or just because we’re getting attention? Do we take a new job not knowing what the outcome will be? We become ’stuck’ when we don’t make any choices or decisions. If we don’t take a risk, how can life change? What you see is what you will get. I’m not saying to cheat on your spouse, but perhaps to take a good look at what you can do, not what you can’t.
I sometimes sit and procrastinate, a lot! It’s a measure where I’m thinking I’m taking time for myself, yet I don’t even do that. Before I know it, the day is over and I’m left with…left with what? Nothing really, except a day lost. Is the grass always greener on the other side? Not so much..but don’t we always look at that other side. It’s the way we look at celebrities and public figures. WOW star struck thoughts…but we are all tied in some way or another with being human and having ego. We all have a connection. We all have issues and problems that we don’t tell anyone else about. Let’s get plugged back into life and get things moving in the direction we want! First things are first, make a plan. I know what I want to do with my family, for myself, for my home, for my children, etc. We just need to start somewhere…so let’s start. It’s a new day…let’s get moving…who’s with me?
